Obituary of Angel Morninglane

Angel Morninglane, of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 58.

He was born on May 13, 1963 in New York, New York.

There are often stories to share about people overcoming challenges, Angel is one of those people.

Angel's love of life, didn't come to an end with his death. The simplest pleasures in life, brought great joy to Angel. He loved going to program daily, and made sure to remind staff not to forget his lunches as well. Angel enjoyed being at home with his Varnell family, either watching a good movie or tv show, or listening to music. Angel loved spending time in the kitchen learning how to cook, as well as waiting to eat delicious meals prepared by staff. Angel had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. Angel will be greatly missed by all those that had the privilege to have been in his presence.

Angel is survived by his extended family and friends at Crystal Run Village, Inc.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10 to 11am at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodbourne Cemetery, Parsonage Road, Woodbourne, NY.
