Obituary of Bowman G Owen

Bowman G. Owen longtime resident of Livingston Manor NY passed away on June 1, 2021. He was 92 years old. Bowman was born on May 16, 1929 to the late Bowman H. Owen and Reta Crook Owen.

Bowman was the Town of Rockland Highway Supervisor for many years. Bowman loved being with his family running his heavy equipment flying his airplane and was an avid outdoorsman. Bowman was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

He is survived by his children Sharon Owen, Susan Owen Harbaugh and Sandra Owen Kelly and stepdaughter Kim Cook Neer and 15 grandchildren and many great children; as well as his brother Gail Owen and a host of friends. Bowman is predeceased by his son Steven Owen and his daughter Sheila Owen Wolcott; as well as his stepdaughter Shelly Cook Misner and his beloved wife Jeannette R Owen; and sisters Margaret and Kathy.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
