Leonard Steele of Liberty passed away on Monday, June 15, 2019 at Achieve Rehab and Nursing.

Leonard was the son of the late Leonard Steele and Mae Rosencrantz, born on May 29, 1944 in Hancock, NY.

He was survived by his daughters Beatrice and Tiffany, his son William "Billy",  his long time companion Janet, his brother Leonard Jr. and his wife Joyce, his half sister, Darlene and her husband Marvin, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his brother Walter. 

Limited visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Colonial- Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 South Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754 from 2-3:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Rev. Roy Shaffer will officiate. Social distancing guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health will be in place; a limit of 10 visitors at a time will be allowed in the funeral home and facemasks are required at all times.
