Obituary of Bernice K Simpson

Bernice K. Simpson of Livingston Manor, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Canandaigua, NY at 77 years old. The daughter of Thomas and Delphia Henderson, she was born March 12th, 1942 in Harrison, Arkansas and was the youngest of 8 children. Bernice married Anthony (Butch) Simpson in1964 and together they had four children: Traci, Ralph (Tony), Teri and Todd. The commitment to their children allowed for a treasured friendship over the years with Butch and his wife, Diana and family events continued to be her favorite times. Survivors include her children: Traci Simpson Lauricella of New Buffalo, MI, Ralph (Tony) Simpson of Livingston Manor, Teri K. Howard (Jeff Howard) of Canandaigua, NY and Todd Simpson (Luann Steele) of Swan Lake; Grandchildren: Zachary Lauricella, Bradley Majchrzak, Anthony Simpson, Zoe Lauricella, Samantha Majchrzak, Zane Lauricella, Gavin Simpson, Jarret Simpson and Carly Simpson; Great granddaughter: Nova Lee Lauricella; Brother: Harold Henderson (Gloria) from Georgia; Sister: Deborah Johnson from Oklahoma; and so many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: Parents -Thomas and Delphia Henderson; Sisters - Leta Cheatam, Winnie Boss, Virginia Holt, Doris Stover and Brother Gene Henderson, Son-in-Law Vincent Lauricella. Visitation will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3pm to 5pm with a Celebration of Life to follow immediately at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St. Livingston Manor, NY 12758.
