Thomas Edward Stant of Monticello, NY, died peacefully on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at New York Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 76.

He was the son of James and Rose Stant born on February 4, 1942 in Flushing, Queens.

He proudly joined the Navy in 1960 and honorably served his country. On November 7, 1964 he married his childhood sweetheart, Frances Rachell Cavalier, who he thought was the most beautiful woman in the world and together they had 3 beautiful children; Thomas, Jennifer and Pamela. Thomas was a proud business owner in Sullivan County. He was uniquely talented, funny and smart. He will be greatly missed.

Thomas is survived by his wife Frances of 54 years, his children; Thomas, Jennifer and Pamela, his daughter-in-law Krystina, his grandchildren; Christopher, Jessica, Alexandra and Joseph, his sister Patricia, his sister-in-law Rosemarie and all his wonderful nieces and nephews, his extended family; Jeff and Michael and all his friends. He was predeceased by his father James, his mother Rose and his best friend and brother-in-law Skip who is waiting for him at the lake house.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Peters Church, 262 North Main St. Liberty, NY.
