Obituary of Steven Wayne Pallom

Steven W Pallom of Woodbourne passed away September 19 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 63. Steve was the son of the late William and Marion (Gabel) Pallom born November 16, 1953 in Middletown NY.

 

Steven was a retired NYS Correctional Officer from both the Woodbourne and Sullivan facilities. After his retirement he worked at Grossinger's Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf and watching football especially the "GIANTS". He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him, he will be deeply missed.

 

He is survived by his son Glenn Pallom: grandson Joshua Turk (Raven):Great grand-daughter Charlotte Turk: a sister Susan Harper (Jim) and sister in law Alice Pallom and their families, as well as Aunt Helen, several nieces, a nephew and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother David Pallom.

 

Steve's family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the nurses in CCU at Catskill Regional Medical Center for their exceptional care and compassion of them and Steve during his time of need.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's memory may be made to the Woodbourne or Neversink Ambulance Corp, P.O. Box 322, Woodbourne, NY 12788.

 

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788.
