Obituary of Anne Zytynsky

Home: Parksville, New York USA Place of Birth: Woonsocket, Rhode Island USA Obituary Anne Zytynsky Parksville, NY Anne Zytynsky, a longtime Sullivan County Resident, passed away on Monday September 11, 2017 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, NY at the age of 95. Born on November 25, 1921 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Paulina (Sokolowski) Bratkowsky. Anne was raised in Brooklyn before moving with her late husband, Anton, to Parksville, NY and purchasing their beautiful boarding house "The White Star House". Anne was a retired x-ray Technician at Community General Hospital in Harris, NY. She was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Kerhonkson, NY. Anne was also a WWII Navy Veteran, serving as a Pharmacist's Mate from 1944 to 1946 and belonged to the Russell Sprague American Legion Post #109 in Liberty, NY. Anne is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Bratkowsky of Liberty, NY and her dear friends, Nadia Pidhajecky and Alan Bohan, both of Parksville, NY as well as the Mohorovich Family, the Chupa family and the Bartosiewicz family. She was predeceased by her husband, Anton Zytynsky, a brother, John Bratkowsky and a cousin, Stasia Golem Biowski. Visiting hours will be on Thursday September 14 from 3 - 6 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Anne's funeral mass will be on Friday September 15 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 211 Foordmore Rd. Kerhonkson, NY. Burial will be with her beloved husband in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Campbell Hall, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Anne's name to Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 211 Foordmore Rd. Kerhonkson, NY 12446.
