Obituary of John Vincent Tomasulo

Home: Smallwood, New York USA Place of Birth: Long Island City, New York USA Obituary John Vincent Tomasulo Smallwood, NY John Vincent Tomasulo, a 40-year area resident, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 as the result of injuries sustained in a fire at his residence in Smallwood, NY. He was 69 years of age. John was the son of the late Pasquale and Filomena Pennachia Tomasulo and was born on June 2, 1946 in Long Island City, NY. John was a US Marine Veteran, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal and serving during the Vietnam War. John worked as a law enforcement officer for the Town of Bethel. He was a past member of the Smallwood-Mongaup Valley Fire Dept. Survivors include his four sons; John Tomasulo of Smallwood, NY, Jason Tomasulo and his wife Rebecca of Middletown, NY, Stephen Tomasulo and his companion, Heather Brown of Smallwood, NY and Paul Tomasulo of Kingston, NY; brother, Richard (Joann) Tomasulo of Ohio; sister, Joann Shaw and husband, Rick, of Smallwood and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Vincent Tomasulo of South Ozone Park, NY. Friends may call on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 15 at 3 PM with Rev. David Coon officiating. Military Honors burial will follow the services at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY.
