Obituary of M. Fred P. Kross

Home: Monticello, New York USA Place of Birth: Derby, Connecticut USA Obituary Fred "Maxie" P. Kross Sr. Monticello, NY Fred P. Kross Sr., a longtime resident of Monticello, passed into eternal life on Sunday May 22, 2016 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. He was 89. He was the son of the late Peter and Sophia Kross and was born on March 15, 1927 in Derby, CT. As a young adult he married Margaret Smith and moved to Monticello where he worked for Feldberg Lumber Co. as a cabinet maker. He was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1945 - 1946. He is survived by two sons, Fred Kross Jr. and Joseph Kross; one daughter, Diana Coney; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. We will all miss him.
