Obituary of Evelyn Flecha

Evelyn Flecha, age 59, passed away peacefully on Friday 25, 2019 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY. She was born June 22nd 1959, in the Bronx NY, to Ana Marie Aponte and Jose Luis Aponte. She graduated from High school in Manhattan with Honors. She didn't stop there. She then worked her way up with different types of trades such as accounting, women advocate, and even the Puerto Rican Day parade movement. She was the mother of John Bell II, Angelo R. Flecha III, and Jailyn Flecha. She was the wife, partner in crime, and the back bone, of Angelo R Flecha Jr. She was a loving passionate and ambitious Grandmother to Illiana Clarkson, Isaiah Clarkson, Gabriel Bell, Terrance Lockhart, John Bell III, Leiana Akers, Emili Akers, Elijah Clarkson, Ian Clarkson, and Ananda Clarkson. She spoiled all of her grand kids as if there were her own children. She would do anything for anyone when they were in need even if she was the one in need more. Anything Evelyn wanted to do, she always put her best into it. Anything you wanted or needed, she was there to help give it to you, or atleast guide you, in the right direction to your success. Evelyn was very successful at everything she put her hands on or mind to. Evelyn was such an intelligent, honorable, reliable, outstanding, and all around the perfect gal. Some of her passions were fixing cars, watching her son sing songs and make beats, decorating her home with love and much more. Evelyn used to work for the paper center in Callicoon and she was the best at her job. She also worked for law offices and anywhere she could get her foot in the door. Evelyn would go out of her way to make sure that one day her son, (Angelo Flecha) would be famous. She attended all of his shows and even received the award of best Momager for lifetime. Evelyn was a best friend to a lot of us because she listened and gave advice. She always told it like it was and wasn't afraid of anything. She will forever be in our hearts and mind. She is why we are who we are today. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10am to 1pm at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Father Sheehan will officiate. Burial will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY.
