Obituary of Charles H. Linnemeyer

Home: Livingston Manor, New York USA Place of Birth: Jamaica, New York USA Obituary Charles H. Linnemeyer Livingston Manor, NY Charles (Charlie) H. Linnemeyer, of Livingston Manor, passed away on May 29, 2015 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 84. The son of the late Harold and Marie Weimer Linnemeyer, he was born on April 25, 1931 in Jamaica, NY. Charlie served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Staff Sgt. He lived in Sea Cliff, NY after his discharge where he was involved in the Junior Baseball League of Seacliff for 12 years. He moved to Livingston Manor in 1990 following his retirement as a Production Manager in the Contract Metal Stamping Industry. Survivors include two sons, Harold (Terri) of Sugar Land, TX and John (Cathy) of Bayville, NY; six grandchildren, Jessica, Donald and Heather of Sugarland, TX and Casey, Danile and Abigail of Bayville, NY; a great-grandchild, Aidan; friends, Elinor D'Andrea, Janet Burkey and his very good friend, Virginia Connell. He also leaves behind his canine companion, Sarah. Charlie was predeceased by his wife Valerie Linnemeyer in 1992 and by his canine companions, Baron, Foxy and Zena. Friends may call on Friday June 12, 2015 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be on Saturday June 13 at 11 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, NY.
