Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: , Jamaica John Carlton Turner Liberty, NY John Carlton Turner, a resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was 70. The son of the late John Martin Turner and Myrtle McDermott, he was born on May 27, 1943 in Jamaica, West Indies. John is survived by his wife, Vivinne Turner at home; daughters, Karen Turner, Sandra Turner and Janice Turner; brothers, Samuel Turner and Hopeton Turner; sisters, Hope Clark and June Curtis; four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Silvia Acher and a son, Carlton Turner. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 11 AM to Noon at Mission Church of God, 112 Buckley St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be at Noon at the church with Rev. Ruth Sellers Ward officiating. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
