The son of the late Victor Oakley and Margaret DuBois Oakley, he was born on April 29, 1945 in Jefferson, NY. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Louise Bingell Oakley at home; daughters, Bonnie Oakley of Florida and Rebecca Oakley and her companion Frank Magie of Loch Sheldrake, NY; brother, Richard Oakley and his wife Joyce of Florida; sisters, Patricia Oakley and Rose Oakley, both of Saugerties, NY; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 at 3 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY.
