Obituary of Kenneth Alvin Dauch

Home: Old Town, Florida USA Place of Birth: White Lake, New York USA Obituary Kenneth Alvin Dauch Old Town, Florida formerly of White Lake, NY Kenneth Alvin Dauch, 83, of Old Town, Florida, passed away after a short illness at North Regional Medical Center on Saturday, July 30, 2016. His wife and loving family were with him. He was the son of the late Louis and Edna Dauch of White Lake, NY and was born on May 24, 1933. He served his country in the US Army and was honorable discharged in 1955. He was a Past Commander of the White Lake VFW Post 5499 and was a former commander and chief of the White Lake Fire Dept. He also was a member of the Moose Lodge. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Hofsommer Dauch at home; three children, Gerry Abplanalp (Jim) of Old Town, FL, Kathy Davies (Jim) and Laurie Reinshagen, all of Chiefland, FL; a sister, Elaine "Cookie" Bell of Smallwood, NY; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Dauch Jr.; a sister, Shirley Hendrickson and brothers, Charles "Toots" Dauch, Doug Dauch and Wendell Dauch. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him and loved him. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 from 1 - 2 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY.
