Marchino Rock Hill, NY Ernest "Ernie" Marchino, a resident of Rock Hill, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday August 15, 2016. He was 57. The son of the late Peter F. and Ida Marchino, he was born on April 26, 1959 in New York, NY. Ernie was owner and operator of QWQ Service, a heating and air conditioning company he founded after receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Ernie was an active member of the Masons. He joined in 1994 and held various positions over the years. He was Past Master of Monticello Lodge # 0532; Assistant Grand Lecturer for Sullivan Masonic District # 061; was Secretary, Senior Warden and Junior Deacon for Livingston Manor Lodge # 0791; was a Senior Warden, a Trustee and is currently Master of Fallsburg Lodge #1122. Ernie was a "people person" who loved to entertain. He was good friend, a loving husband and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Kinne Marchino at home; his brother, Richard Marchino and his wife Jan of Roscoe, NY; nieces, Lisa Hodny (Curtis), Amy Coney and Amanda Cooper; great-nieces, Isabella and Catharine Hodny and Kailey Coney; sister-in-law, JoAnn Cooper and her husband, Bobby, of Monticello, NY , his best friend, David Misner of Livingston Manor and many more friends. Friends may call on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St., Monticello, NY. Masonic services will be at 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 11 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.
