O'Neill, a former resident of Monticello and 20 year resident of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Lucy Corr Village in Chesterfield, VA. He was 74. Shaune was the son of the late Maurice and Louise Voss Meddaugh and was born on December 17, 1940 in Callicoon, NY. He is survived by his brother, Richard Meddaugh Jr. of Newburgh, NY; sister, Gloria Myers of North Chesterfield, VA; nephews, Richard Meddaugh Jr. of Albany, NY and Matthew Myers of Milwaukee, WI; nieces, Elizabeth Meddaugh of California and Laura Myers of New York, NY; and great-nieces and nephews, Lola, Fiona, J.R. and Aubrey and many cousins. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 3 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY. Rev. David Coon will officiate the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Lucy Corr Village, 6800 Lucy Corr Blvd. Chesterfield VA 23832. Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. Monticello, NY.
