Obituary of Samuel D Beamon

Samuel Beamon, 88, reached his sunset on Friday April 13, 2018 in Liberty, NY where he was a longtime resident. He was born on December 30, 1929 in Sunbury, North Carolina and raised in Suffolk, Virginia with his eight brothers and five sisters. He was the son of the late Charlie Edward Beamon and the late Cora Eason Beamon. Prior to settling in Liberty, New York, Sam was a business and nightclub owner in New York City. He was the father of the late Mary O. Beamon. Samuel, in addition to his parents was predeceased by his siblings Andrew Cephus Beamon, Shepard Beamon, Edward Beamon, William Beamon, Robert Lee Beamon, John Hayward Beamon, Cleophus Beamon, Mary Beamon, Dora Sharpe, Dorothy Palmer, Bessie Waters and Elsie Cross. Samuel leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Lucy A Beamon (Suffolk, Virginia), grandsons Stanley and Shawn Beamon (Suffolk, Virginia) great grandsons Anthony and Nathaniel Beamon (Suffolk, Virginia) Shawn, Jason, Tyrone, and Jamal Coleman, (Bronx, New York) step-grandchildren Robert Coleman and LaTavia Waldron (Bronx, New York) and great-great grandson Lyric Beamon (Suffolk, Virginia). He also leaves one brother Willie Beamon of Syracuse, New York. Samuel was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will forever mourn his memory. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, April 21st at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Rev.
