Ira E. Edwards of Parksville, NY born April 17, 1963 passed away at age 60 on May 28, 2023.

He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Eleanor Edwards of Parksville, NY and his brother Leonard Edwards also of Parksville.

Ira is survived by his daughter Kayla Schrader and two grandchildren; Haven and Anthony Jr. all of Loch Sheldrake, NY. His sister Louise Edwards (Larry Wilson) of Liberty, NY. His brother and best friend Alan Edwards Sr. (Lori Conklin Edwards) of Swan Lake, NY. His brothers Ivan Edwards of Swan Lake, NY, Leslie Edwards of Parksville, NY, and Zane Edwards of Parksville, NY. His "brother from another mother" Joe Mazzucca (Amanda) of Livingston Manor, NY. His last surviving aunt Snookie Edwards of Liberty, NY. His nephews and nieces; Alan Edwards Jr., Larry Wilson Jr., Joseph Wilson, Woodrow Wilson, Vernon Wilson, Richard Edwards, Philip Edwards, Samantha Stanton, Rosella Pickens, Trina Jordan, Angel Wilson, Cathy Edwards, and Leslie-Ann Edwards. And many, many, great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4 to 7pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7pm.
