Obituary of Teresa Rose Healey

Teresa, 79, of Woodbourne, New York passed away on May 11, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center surrounded by her loving children. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, Nana, and friend. She was loved by many and leaves a big hole in our lives.

 

Teresa was the daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice Sanicola, born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York. Teresa was a hard worker and prior to retiring worked for Brenner Income Tax. Teresa found joy in cooking, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and watching her all-time favorite show- “The Big Bang Theory”.

 

Teresa was a devoted wife to her late husband, William “Brent” Healey. Together, they enjoyed going on many adventures. They loved going for rides together on Brent’s trike.

 

To cherish her memory, Teresa leaves behind her children Donald Gallagher (Karen), Patty Cooley (Fred Larsen), Kelly Zawistowski (Mike Keane) Nicole Rosengrant (Kristopher), her grandchildren Jessica, Alyssa, Katie, Michael, Lauren, Nicholas, and Makenzie, her great grandchildren Kensleigh, Caysen, Joanna, and a host of friends.

 

A service will be held at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery on June 24th at 11:00 am. Following the service, a Private Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held at Casa Mia, 205 Main Street Hurleyville, NY.
