Gerald Thomas Sullivan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 1st, 2023, at the age of 84 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY.

Gerald was born in the Bronx NYC on July 27, 1938, to Ethel Sime and Gerald Leo Sullivan Sr. He grew up in the Bronx and later moved to the Catskills with his wife and kids. Gerald was a devoted family man. He was married to his beloved wife, Rose Sullivan, for 62 years. Together, they raised two families. They raised their children, Jerry, and Marion, and later raised their two grandchildren BobbiJo and Lance as if they were their own. He also had two other grandchildren Jerry Jr. and Amanda. He would do anything for his family as they were the joy of his life.

Gerald was also a dedicated employee who worked full-time until he was 84 years old. He was admired by his colleagues for his work ethic, commitment, and knowledge.

Gerald is remembered for his unfailing loyalty, strength, and kindness. He was always there for his loved ones and gave everything for his family and friends. He was never hesitant to offer support and guidance when needed most. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people smile.

Gerald's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service for Gerald will be held on May 17th at St. Peter’s Church 10 Liberty St, Monticello, NY 12701 at 1:00pm. All who knew him are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
