Luis Angel Diaz of Port Jervis passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 43.

He was the son of Josephine Diaz and Jorge Diaz, born on July 9, 1979, in Newburgh, NY.

Luis was an adventurous soul, he wouldn't shy away from jumping off cliffs, swimming in dangerous waters, driving fast cars and anything to get his adrenaline pumping. He had a sense of humor that was unmatched and will be sorely missed. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his family but especially his children.

He is survived by his mother Josephine Diaz, his children Alissa Wissig, Luis A Diaz Jr., Valentino Diaz, Dayami Diaz, Luano Diaz, and Eladio Diaz, and their mother, Nicolette Natale, his sibling Albert Padilla , Angel Padilla, Robert Padilla, Maritza Padilla, Mi Mi Webb and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 11:00am-12:00pm. Interment will follow at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
