Randal "Randy" Marcus Rivera, born June 17, 1959, in Liberty, NY passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at home. He was 63. Randy proudly served our military in the United States Army from 1976-1979. He loved nature and everything it had to offer, especially fishing and the ocean. He liked gardening, hunting, music, dancing and kayaking. He enjoyed traveling where he would often go fishing. He loved food, cooking, eating and critiquing food. Above everything he loved spending time with his family especially his great nephew Christian. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother Anita Cornish, his brothers Destino Rivera and his wife Amanda, Joseph Rivera and his wife Mary, Tony Rivera, and Ruben and his wife Kim, his sisters Lisa Rivera, Monique Smith and her husband Sean, and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his sister Estelle Dijkstra. Visitation will be on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00pm. Interment will follow with full military honors at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, 175 Sunset Lake Road Liberty, NY.
