Obituary of Albert B Knight

Albert B. "Buffy" Knight, of White Sulphur Springs, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 78.

 He was the son of the late Albert Knight Sr. and Evelyn Ragan born on March 28, 1943 in Liberty, NY.

Al was owner and operator of Al's Place in Liberty, he had a true passion for antiquing so made that his career as well. He retired as manager of Shoprite. He loved to hunt for a good bargain and also hunt in the great outdoors. He was a past cub scout leader and an avid football fan, the JETS being his favorite team and he also enjoyed the ponies. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Eileen "Lee" Knight; his sister Rhea DeMaria (Dominick);his children Patsy Knight (Peter Lawrence), Teri Knight, Cindi Mungeer, Andrea Knight, Dr. Scott Ng-Evans (Linda), Shelly Klein (Dale) and Carrie Smith (Bill); grandchildren Joseph Somers, Peter Fanning (Melissa), Kevin Fanning, Thomas Mungeer (Brianna), Nicholas, Jillian, Jocelyn Mungeer, Daniel and Honour Ng-Evans, Ally Meadow (Ethan), Alec Gildersleeve, Jeremy Rau, Katie and Lindsey Rau; five great-grandchildren Serenity, Fynn, Samuel, Magnolia and Magnus as well as many nieces and nephews .

 He is predeceased by grandson Ethan Gildersleeve, and sister Diana Nolan.

 A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754.
