Kathy Hyzer, of Livingston Manor, NY, passed away very suddenly, on January 6, 2022. She was 55. Kathy was born on December 4, 1966 in Liberty, NY to Kenneth Hyzer and Lynn Loughrey Hyzer. Kathy held an accounting degree and was employed by the United States Postal Service. She was a dedicated employee, who served first the Jeffersonville and later the Callicoon communities as a driver delivering mail for 25 years. She appreciated the wonder of nature, enjoyed hiking, and was an avid animal lover. During her free time, Kathy enjoyed traveling and visiting new places. She loved playing games, and as an honorary member of MENSA, solving puzzles. Kathy loved to laugh, and was kind and generous. She will be missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Kathy is survived by her loving parents, Kenneth and Lynne Loughrey Hyzer; her husband, Christopher Sarles; her in-Laws Tom and Lynn Sarles of Daytona Beach Fl, her siblings, Lori Schulman and her husband Jay of Woodstock Georgia, Karen Hyzer of Livingston Manor, NY. Lisa Green and her husband Robert of Georgia, and Leslie Porter and her husband Vincent of Liberty NY, her nieces and nephews, Alicia, Kristopher, and Leah Hyzer, Michael, Brian, Jessica, Schulman. Katie, Jennifer Green. Brooke, and Cassandra Porter, and many friends and loved ones. She is predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Hyzer, Jr. A memorial service will be held in the springtime at the request of the family.
