Olga Cubero Velazquez of Loch Sheldrake, NY passed away on September 14, 2021 at Garnet Medical Center, she was 62 years old. Olga is predeceased by her parents, Guillermina Velazquez and Adrian Cubero.  Olga leaves behind her siblings, including Neftali Cubero and his wife Keila Cubero of Liberty NY and her extended family at New Hope Community.

Olga was born in a small rural town in Puerto Rico on February 9, 1959. Olga was born into a large family which included nine brothers and one sister and they worked as farmers. Olga and her Mother moved to NY about fifteen years ago.

Olga lived a life full of close family, friends, and love.  After coming to New Hope, that still continued with her newly added family at New Hope Community. Olga was a happy soul with a smile on her face that lit up her eyes and joy in her heart.  She will be missed greatly, but remembered fondly always.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
