Obituary of Anthony Melvin Sisco

Anthony Melvin “Tony” Sisco, of Monticello, passed away on August 24, 2021. He was 66.

He was the son of Melvin Sisco and Debra Lowrey, born on September 20, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA.

Tony worked as a taxi dispatcher for Ronnie’s Taxi in Monticello. Tony was a true family man, he enjoyed cooking for his family, attended all of his kids’ games and loved decorating for the holidays. He always made sure his kids had everything they needed for school and supported them in all of their endeavors. In his free time he enjoyed watching wrestling and martial arts, and always looked forward to the next family road trip. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Lisa J. Acton, whom he shared 42 years with; his children Diedre Rodriguez and Darryl Lindsey (Amanda Quattrochi); grandchildren Joseph, Nova, Ayla; and sister Antoinette Williamson; as well as two nephews. He now joins in Heaven his brother Rodney.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello, NY 12701. A funeral service will be held at 6pm at the funeral home.
