Obituary of Cynthia Katz

Cynthia Katz of Loch Sheldrake, NY passed away on June 18, 2021 at her home.

Cynthia was born in Brooklyn in 1954 and was adopted during infancy by the Katz family. She attended a Hebrew school in Brooklyn New York and later moved to Loch Sheldrake NY at the age of 22.

Cyndi’s vibrant personality brought so much joy, laughter, and sunshine into the lives of all who knew her.  She had a welcoming, outgoing personality and often had a hint of mischief smiling through her eyes that could light up a room.  Those who knew Cyndi best knew there was often a reason for the smile on her face that involved her appreciation for other’s belongings or memories of her friendships throughout the years.  Cyndi’s lively spirit will be missed by all who knew her, but will live on through her colorful art work and all the fond memories she has graced us with.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 11 am at Hillside Cemetery in Woodbourne, NY.
