Obituary of Margaret Hannold

Margaret Hannold, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 76. She was the daughter of the late Dwight McIntosh and Ida (Wells) McIntosh, born on February 17, 1945 in Liberty, NY. Margaret worked as a Registered Nurse at Harris Hospital. She genuinely loved and cared for people, especially her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. When she was not spending time with her family, she enjoyed being out in the fresh air, you could often find her taking a walk or fishing; she was a farm girl at heart. She loved dancing to 50's and 60's music and enjoyed finding a good bargain at a yard sale or an auction. When it was time to relax, she kept her hands busy and her mind creative with her knitting and crocheting. But above all else, she absolutely loved her family; she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Shawn T. Edwards and his wife Casey D. Edwards and William H. Hannold; grandchildren Jody L. Revell, Jaime M. Edwards, Shawn W. Edwards, and Courtney L. and Corey Hannold; her great-grandchildren Robby, Jacob and Zachary Cothren, Serenity and Annabella Revell, Sophia G. Bubbico and Lilliani Barreto; as well as her siblings Dwight, Lenny, and Timothy McIntosh. She joins in Heaven her devoted husband who passed away in 2019, William Hannold; her brother Harry McIntosh and sister-in-law Margaret McIntosh. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY 12754. Rev. Carl Caskey will officiate.
