Obituary of Theodore Bear

Theodore E. Bear, son of the late Roy Bear, Sr. and Pauline Bartell Bear, born May 11, 1951 in Harrisburg, PA, passed away on February 20, 2021 in Westchester. He was a proud graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg, PA. He worked at Yaun Company in Liberty, NY until March 2020 and was previously employed at General Coatings Paint Co. Ted was a past member of the Livingston Manor Rotary Club. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, showing his classic Corvette at car shows and was a huge fan of Kris Kristofferson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was taken too soon from us, and will be fondly remembered. He is survived by his devoted wife Audrey Keller Bear, whom he met in 2000 and married on October 25, 2008. He is also survived by his children Kevin (Bonnie) of Livingston Manor and Kelly of Tampa, FL., as well as eleven grandchildren Brianna, Kevin Jr., Tiana, Jay Shawn, Shakira, Kiyah, Legend, Lorenzo, Eden, Andrea and Genaya; his sisters Sandy Summerville, Patricia Disney and Doris Hoerner; and twenty one nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful canine companion, Emily. He was predeceased by his grandson Antonio, brother Sam, sisters Shirley, Louise, Evelyn and infant sister Deborah. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758.
