Evangelist Margaret Ann Carr-Herring, 84 of Woodridge, New York was born April 4, 1936 in Wallace, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, New York.

Margaret went to Charity High School in Wallace, North Carolina. On June 4, 1955, she married the late Johnnie Herring, who was in the United States Army. They were stationed at various U.S. Army Bases until moving to Woodridge, New York, where she lived until her passing.

In 1972, Evangelist Margaret began her close, personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Love of her life. She was a radical warrior for Christ turning many to Christ with her powerful testimony of where the Lord brought her from and how much He loves you. She attended King's Chapel Mission Church in Monticello, New York, during the Late Elder Jesse Wrenn Pastorage, who had to buy a bus to transport the many people Evangelist Margaret had convinced to come to Church. Her pastor of King's Chapel Mission Church later became the Late Suffragan Bishop Leon Williams, and lastly his son, Elder Michael Williams, whom she dearly loved, respected, and adored. Evangelist Margaret also attended Bible School in Woodridge, New York, which she loved studying the Word of God, for a number of years and graduated with honors. This was an immeasurable joy in her life.

Evangelist Margaret loved listening to Gospel Music and she wrote hundreds of poems to the Lord! She loved and admired the strength of "eagles," which is evident in one of her favorite scriptures found in Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
