Obituary of Joseph Henry Roman

Joseph Henry Roman, of Monticello, died peacefully on November 19, 2020. He was born on April 13, 1964 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was raised in New York City and moved to Monticello, NY nine years ago. Joseph attended St. Gregory the Great School as well as Brandeis High School and State University of Morrisville. He is well known for his passion for his beloved New York Yankees and his love for Puerto Rico. He was a strong family man and was loved by many. He is survived by his mother Margarita Roman; father Norberto Betancourt; sister Elizabeth Carrasquillo and niece Carmen Carrasquillo. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Roman. Memorial visitation will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello, NY 12701. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Monticello, NY at 1:00pm.
