Stephanie Michelle Babich-Youmans of Liberty, NY, passed away on September 5, 2015 at Westchester Hospital with her family at her side. She will be dearly missed by so many. Stephanie was born on February 11, 1984 to Thomas and Diane Babich of Livingston Manor. Stephanie loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing and riding side by side with her husband, Eric. Stephanie was especially fond of the times she spent with her family at the speedway; she was a true champion. She is survived by her husband, Eric C. Youmans of Liberty, NY; her parents, Thomas and Diane Babich; her sister, Valentina Maria Babich and Christine Mary Babich; her maternal grandparents, Tony and Iole Puzzo of Livingston Manor; her paternal grandparents, Erminio and Marcella Babich of Livingston Manor; her Aunt, Fiorella and Uncle, Maurizio of South Fallsburg, her Uncle, David and Aunt, Rosanna Puzzo of Glendale, her Uncle, Danny and Aunt, AnnMarie Puzzo of Florida, her God parents, Aunt, Frances and Uncle, Franco Cappitta of Brooklyn, her Aunt, Denise and Uncle, Enio Lovric of Livingston Manor; her Great-Uncle, Tony and Great-Aunt, Mitzi Babich of Long Island; her cousins: Nicholas Muscia, Bella Muscia who is her goddaughter, David Puzzo, Samantha Puzzo, Franco Cappitta, Daniela Cappita, Adrianna Lovric, Vincent Lovric and Andrew Lovric; her mother-in-law, Luann Youmans of Youngsville; her father-in-law, Charles and his spouse, Abbe of Neversink; her brother-in-law, Brett and his wife, Heather of Plymouth, MA; her sister-in-law, Jessica Youmans of Petersburg, AK; along with so many other close family members and friends. Donations in Stephanie's name can be made to the Stephanie Babich-Youmans Fund, c/o Jeff Bank, 19 Church Street, Liberty, NY 12754. The fund will be used as a scholarship for local Livingston Manor Central School students pursuing further education. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9th at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Stephanie's honor at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 10th at St. Aloysius Catholic Church; Fr. Ed Bader is officiating. Internment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulfur Springs.
