Thelma Jane Conklin, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at home. She was 85. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Carl Boyles and Carrie Izetta Rogers Boyles, born on February 21, 1932 in Livingston Manor, NY. Thelma worked as a Central Supply Technician for Catskill Regional Medical Center. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, shopping and traveling but especially enjoyed being a grandmother. She was a loving mother, a caring grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She leaves behind her children: Connie Young, Carol Calahan and her husband Richard, Elaine Lambert, Dixie Fernald, Raven and Ronnie Roser, and Jody Boyles; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings Ethel and Merrit Roser, Leatha and her husband Clarence Houghtaling, and Larry Boyles and his wife Laura. She is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband Richard D. Conklin; and her siblings Paul and Donald Boyles. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11th from 4 to 7pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Homes, 29 Pearl St. Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A celebration of life will take place at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
