George Casimate of South Fallsburg passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 68. He was the son of the late John and Jennie Porretta Casimate, born on June 9, 1946 in Manhattan, NY. George came to Woodbourne, NY to live in November 1994 and in March 2002 he moved to South Fallsburg. He would often talk about how proud he was of his father who served in WWII; he had plenty of pictures on his walls for everyone to see. He enjoyed eating out with his friends. George will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory all of his extended family and friends at Sullivan ARC. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Father Ed Bader officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Woodbourne, NY.
