Obituary of Linda E. Bridge

Home: White Sulphur Springs, New York USA Place of Birth: Greenwich, Connecticut USA Obituary Linda Ellen Bridge White Sulphur Springs, NY Linda Ellen Bridge, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday May 19, 2015 with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was the daughter of the late George Conrad and Ellen Gargan Christophersen and was born in Greenwich, Ct on Aug. 24, 1943. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School and moved to White Sulphur Springs in 1980 and began the Bridge Farm with her late husband Andrew Genius Bridge III, who passed on July 28, 2013. They grew vegetables and Linda became an expert gardener, which she leaves as a legacy to her son and her grandchildren, who will carry on the tradition of the Bridge Farm. Linda is survived by her son, Matthew A. Bridge and his wife Richie Lynn at home; four grandchildren, Timothy J. Schrader, Austin R. Schrader, Katelyn A. Bridge and Matthew A. Bridge Jr.; a brother, George J. Christophersen and wife Joan of Gaylordsville, CT; two nieces, Wendy J. Christophersen of Buffalo, NY and Amy R. Christophersen-Jacques of CT; several grandnieces and grandnephews and many relatives in Ireland. She is also survived by four stepchildren, Andrew G. Bridge IV of CT, Meg Edwards of White Sulphur Springs, Timothy Bridge and Donna Bellatoni, both of CT. Visiting hours are today, Thursday, May 21 from 2 - 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating.
