McArthur Schenectady, NY formerly of Liberty, NY Charlotte McArthur, a former resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Monday December 16, 2013 in Schenectady, NY. She was 73. The daughter of the late Murrell and Helen Houghtaling McArthur, she was born on July 12, 1940 in Liberty, NY. Charlotte was retired from Hannaford Grocery Stores, where she was a delicatessen associate. She was a member of the Catskill Bastardettes- Liberty Chapter. Charlotte is survived by her son, Norman Gadoury of Schenectady; three sisters, Florence McArthur of Leland, NC, Phyllis Davis of Parksville, NY and Genevieve McArthur of Liberty; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister. Friends may call on Saturday December 21, 2013 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will take place at 1 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Hurleyville Cemetery, Hurleyville, NY.
