Obituary of Walter Kapicic

Home: Murrells Inlet, South Carolina USA Place of Birth: Momtenegro, Yugoslavia Walter Kapicic Murrells Inlet, SC formerly of Liberty, NY Walter Kapicic, 88, of Murrells Inlet, SC and formerly of Liberty, NY, died on Friday August 16, 2013 at M.U.S.C. Memorial Center in Charleston, SC. The son of the late Jovan Kapa and Lubica Marinovic, he was born on April 2, 1925 in Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He was the widow of Ann Kapicic, who died on November 5, 2006. He was a retired baker for the Bakers and Confectioners Union in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1941 to 1946. He is survived by his son, Walter J. Kapicic and his wife Mary of South Carolina; daughters, Carolanne Kapicic of Murrells Inlet, SC and four grandchildren. Visiting hours will be on Thursday August 22, 2013 from Noon to 1 pm at Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc., 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM at St. Peter's Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
