Manthorne, of Wurtsboro, NY, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He was 55. The son of Basil St. Clair Manthorne and Phyllis E. Yeoman Manthorne, he was born on October 2, 1958 in Queens, NY. Brian is survived by his children, Brian Manthorne of Queens, Anthony Manthorne of Syracuse, Jared Manthorne of Brooklyn, Nicole Juarez of New Jersey and Michelle Manthorne of NYC; his mother, Phyllis E. Manthorne of Wurtsboro, NY; sister, Brenda Massowd and her husband George of Bellerose, NY; niece, Catherine Massowd of Bellerose, NY; aunt Terri McArthur and her husband Nelson of Wurtsboro and a cousin Sarah McArthur, also of Wurtsboro. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Manthorne. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 5 - 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St. Monticello, NY.
